Fees

How can you find out what my fees are?

I provide free quotes. I will need to see your text to do so. Each text requires a different level of work, so I don’t have a standard set of fees, but I am competitive. I usually respond to a request for a quote within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).

Flexibility

I’m flexible about how I quote for you. Most of my clients prefer me to quote a fixed fee.

Some clients are happy paying by the hour. You may, for example, be sending me work in instalments and have an unclear idea of the final size of the text at the start of the project. You can trust me to work as quickly as I can without compromising on quality.

If you are a student, you may prefer me to quote on a per 1,000 word basis, because that’s the way most proofreaders quote for students. I’m happy to go along with your preference.

Please note that a separate quote will be given for work on bibliographies after I’ve had a look at them to assess how long the work will take.

If you ask me to carry out urgent work that needs to be completed outside normal office hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) or at weekends or on bank holidays and I’m happy to do so, my fees will be increased by 100%.

Just fill out the contact form or email me if you’d like a quote.
